New Colombo Plan External Advisory Group appointments

Today, I am pleased to announce the appointment of the New Colombo Plan External Advisory Group members who will help design the next phase of the program and ensure it continues to build the capability of Australians to engage with the Indo-Pacific region.

The new appointments bring together experts from a diverse range of backgrounds from across the higher education sector, industry, and NCP alumni:

The New Colombo Plan has supported 50,000 alumni and 41 Australian universities to connect with more than 2,500 institutions to deepen Australians’ links to the Indo-Pacific. Ten years on from its creation, the External Advisory Group will co-design the next phase of the New Colombo Plan, ensuring it delivers real benefits for participants and broadens Australia’s national understanding of our region.
