The Albanese Labor Government is backing the 21st anniversary exhibition of Sculpture by the Sea at Cottesloe Beach in Perth.
Reaffirming our commitment to Western Australian tourism, the Albanese Government is providing $1.5 million for the 2026 and 2027 Sculpture by the Sea Cottesloe exhibitions.
For more than two decades, Sculpture by the Sea has been a celebration of world-class art against a backdrop of one of Perth’s most iconic and visited beaches.
Tourism is a part of Australia's identity, going beyond its economic contribution to showcase creativity and diversity while supporting cities, towns and regional communities across Australia, including Cottesloe.
Backing events such as Sculpture by the Sea demonstrates the Australian Government’s commitment to building market demand, delivering unique experiences and driving visitor growth.
The support includes a minimum of $4,500 of income to each Australian artist towards their costs.
